This soap is made with Japanese Sake and Sake Kasu, the fermented rice mash which is leftover when brewing Sake.

There are no added scents or essential oils added to this soap. The Olive oil is infused with Calendula petals for a slow infusion that lasts about 3 months. This is where the subtle sweet fragrance and the golden color come from.
The Calendula imparts a soothing and conditioning property to the soap.
